Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Code to Image (codetoimage.app, the “Service”), operated by Moonwise Sp. z o.o.(“we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Poland with its registered office at Aleja Grunwaldzka 472, 80-309 Gdańsk, entered in the National Court Register (KRS) under number 0000881568 kept by the District Court Gdańsk-Północ in Gdańsk, VII Commercial Division, NIP 8792729470, REGON 388090241. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Code to Image converts HTML, CSS, and code snippets into images (PNG/JPG/WebP) via a REST API, CLI, and MCP server. Features, limits, and pricing tiers are described on our website and may change over time.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your account secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• render or distribute illegal, infringing, or harmful content;
• violate the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or quotas, or share/resell access in violation of your plan;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• generate content that is abusive, deceptive, or unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

4. Plans, billing, and refunds

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through Stripe. Credits reset each billing period and do not roll over.
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. The free Sandbox tier is provided as-is for testing.
• Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. API keys and security

API keys are secrets tied to your account. Keep them confidential. You are responsible for usage and charges incurred through your keys until you revoke them. Notify us promptly of any suspected compromise.

6. Availability and warranties

We aim for high availability but provide the Service “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the content you submit and the images you generate. You grant us the limited technical right to process your input solely to provide the Service. The Service itself, including its software and branding, remains our property.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. liability, IP) will continue to apply.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Poland. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts competent for our registered office, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
